When A TV Show Goes Bad

Last night, while watching 24, I realized that this show has jumped the shark. For all those who don't know what 'jumping the shark' is, it is when a TV show that used to be high quality entertainment makes a turn for the worse; plots are ridiculous, characters do things that are just so weird, out there, and doesn't make sense; its basically like the writers deciding "Ah, screw this..."

While watching Mr. Bauer hijacking the plane, I was thinking "This show has really just taken a turn for the worse".....there were so many unbelievable things going on this episode. If anyone else was in that baggage area under the plane, they would have been dead within minutes. No one happened to notice Chloe escaping from Buchanan's house. Why hasn't Novick already figured this thing out? Last but not least, where were Audrey, Curtis, Aaron Pierce, Wayne Palmer, and Henderson?

Will I watch the rest of the season? I probably will, there are only 4 episodes left.
