Lessons Learned from a Saturday Night

Last night, I went to a cool bar downtown called Pravda. If you like vodka, then Pravda is your place:

1. You absolutely cannot have a conversation on the phone at Pravda, it is dark, noisy, and you have to walk downstairs in order to come in the place.

2. It is possible to fit 7-8 people at a 4 person table, you will just block the path of the waiters.

3. Do not order a mojito at Pravda unless you like your mojito with alot of pulp, yuck! You are better off drinking a Bohemian.

4. It is an exercise in futility to get a cab on Houston St. in the middle of the night.

5. When someone is babbling incoherently in the middle of the block drunk of his/her butt, it is best to not say anything, don't even think about laughing or smirking (especially if you think the person is a she-male)

Hmmm - you'd think that one of the lessons learned would be that it never hurts to ask a taxi with it's "off duty" light on, if he can drive you home.
